The field of diabetes technologies is growing exponentially. In this article we provide an overview of technologies for blood glucose monitoring and insulin administration along with computer programmes for data download and visualization currently available in Denmark. In addition, we summarize evidence of technology effects as well as local treatment guidelines and reimbursement rules.
