Shoaib Afzal
Klinisk professor
My primary research interests are the epidemiology of major non-communicable diseases and mortality in the general population with special focus on cardiovascular disease and respiratory disease. For this purpose, I use high quality data from settings spanning general population cohorts, such as the Copenhagen General Population Study, to nationwide registry studies, while applying advanced epidemiological methods including causal inference approaches.
