N2 - This case report describes a 55-year-old man with gallstone-induced necrotizing pancreatitis, colonic fistula and subsequent acute cholecystitis. Due to hostile abdominal milieu, traditional cholecystectomy was not possible, why endoscopic ultrasound (EUS)-guided transduodenal drainage of the gallbladder and endoscopic stone extraction was performed successfully. EUS-guided transduodenal drainage of the gallbladder with endoscopic removal of stones constitutes a safe alternative for patients who have cholecystitis, which is not suitable for cholecystectomy.
